The <<Coop
Weekly Newspaper>> in Switzerland celebrates its hundredth birthday
in January 2002; the newspaper, published by the Coop Group was issued for
thefirst time on January 18th 1902. Coop is the second biggest retaildealer
in Switzerland. The German edition of the <<Coop Weekly
Newspaper>> has a circulation number of 1,491,500 copies;
additionally there is the French edition <<Cooperation>> with
400,932 copies and the Italian edition with 109,709 copies. The weekly
edition of the paper reaches a total of 2,002,141 copies. The Coop Group
informed that their newspaper has three million readers and therefore is

スイスの「コープ新聞」は2002年1月創刊100周年を迎える。コープグループにより発行されている同新聞は、1902年1月18日に誕生した。コープはミグロに次ぐスイスで第二の小売業者。コープ新聞のドイツ語版は149万1,500部、フランス語版「コープラシオン」は40万932部、イタリア語版は10万9,709部発行されており、毎週発行される新聞は合計200万2,141部。コープグループに拠ると、同新聞は300万人の読者がおり、スイスで最も読まれている新聞。http://www.coopzeitung.ch
